At present, we are seeking to add a full-time, Payroll Specialist who is self-motivated and detailed oriented to our team! Our Payroll Specialists provide exceptional customer service to clients and employees by following established procedures in administering, processing and maintaining payroll.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Processes payroll for clients including reviewing payroll register and invoice to ensure accuracy. 
  • Provides exceptional customer service via e-mail and telephone to client contacts and individual employees in regards to payroll-related questions.
  • Assists with employee maintenance and new hire input when necessary.
  • Prepares manual payroll checks as required (e.g. terminations, vacation advances, errors), as well as stopping/reissuing checks.
  • Administers garnishments, child support deductions, wage and employment verifications or other requests for employee data. 
  • Prepares Certified Payroll reports as required for certain clients.
  • Creates and generates client/employee reports and submit report request to IT Support, as required.
  • Assists with new company/client conversions including inputting and auditing of new employee information, along with other payroll related tasks (i.e. client setups, test payrolls).
  • Performs other duties as required to support business operations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of direct payroll experience (strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong experience with MS Office, including excellent Excel abilities
